Beautiful is the early mist beneath green and shady trees
And beautiful is the sunlight dancing with a gentle breeze.
Beautiful are forest birds at the first light of the morning
That wake in song sung since creation and still now enduring.
Beautiful is the sky above wearing sun and stars that shine
And the earth below a twirling orb of blue and green sublime.
And beautiful are the clouds that sail over meadow, forest and vale;
But more beautiful than all is the cross of Jesus Christ.
The sacrifice of one divine
That brings eternal life.
No tree or bird or sky can match the beauty of His love and light.
My Savior died for me;
More beauty there will never be.
