God Bless the City of Aurora

Elisha said, “Don’t be afraid for those who are with us outnumber those who are with them.” Then Elisha prayed, “Lord, please open his eyes and let him see.” So the Lord opened the servant’s eyes. He looked and saw that the mountain was covered with horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.” ~ 2 Kings 6:16 & 17

Let God’s people surround Aurora in the days and weeks to come, and comfort them in their loss and pain. Many folks look at evil and think, how can God do this, but it is man who gives over to evil, who kills and destroys–this is clearly seen in the actions of this killer. Evil men attacked Christ and killed him but he rose victorious over it, showing once and for all that God has another way for mankind. Let us not allow the evil of one to blind us to the many who surround Aurora with love and prayers.

Let us pray for the healing of those who have been injured in both body and spirit, for those who grieve, for the killer and his family as Christ so commands, and especially for those who trust in God during such a time as this and seek to serve others in His name.
